We purposely booked a night at the Marriott Residence Inn because it was located close to the ferry terminal (it’s a great hotel, by the way. Awesome rooftop pool. We recommend it).

The above photo shows the seating layout inside Sea Las Perlas ferry to Isla Contadora. I believe we selected seats at the time of booking. However, the seating arrangements appear to be flexible. The more info crew did not seem to care where passengers sit.
